The Furniture is out to Get Me.
Oct. 4th, 2006 03:39 pmI fell out of the Tamora Pierce fandom a year or so ago. The Trickster books seemed contrived, the last Protector book was a let-down, and the Circle universe didn't seem worth tracking down again. But I'm kinda sorta maybe a little bit excited for Terrier. It's in first person. That could be cool, or enormously disappointing.
In other news, as of now, I have slammed one foot into my roommate's open desk drawer, run a couch over the other, crushed my thumbnail between a desk and a leaning chair, and variously scraped, bruised, jabbed, and otherwise accidentally abused myself. Each injury is accompanied by that unreasonable but all-consuming rush of anger at the furniture, god, myself, and anyone nearby.
Grah.
