Valentine's Day approacheth, and I am lonely. So I will do what is the fate of my generation and gender, and eschew personal relationships to travel around the world in search of adventure. February the 14th will be spent on a bus, for the most part, studying up and girding my loins for the mock trial regionals in Portland, Oregon.
Today, one of my favorite webcomics contained the line, "Was that a segue or a sledgehammer?" That line alone explains why I like the comic so very much. The dialogue is ridiculous levels of good. Less impressive was one of the comments:
"Could someone explain to me the Segue reference?"
And since segue is one of my favorite words (and one of my favorite things to do) and I only peripherally associate it with the mode of transportation by the same name, I was saddened and amused, and I wish there was a Hivemind, so that we could all know everything everyone else knows. The internet is getting there, but you still have to know where to look.
And by where to look, I mean Wikipedia.
